Like a lot of fashion companies, we are always thinking about the way that we interact with the environment and how we can reduce our impact on the planet. We want to make sure that any product you buy from us is eco-friendly because we know how important it is to shop green.

Because we want you to feel happy and content buying from us, we thought we would take a minute to talk about sustainability, our obligations as a business to deliver eco-friendly fashion, and how we are trying our best to remain as green as possible during the era of mass production.

THERE’S ONLY ONE PLANET

Truthfully, the fashion world has a lot to answer for when it comes to the environment and the damage that we do to it. Mass production has made creating clothing cheaper and more efficient than ever before, but it comes at the cost of our planet. Lots of mass production methods release harmful substances into the atmosphere that ultimately destroy ecosystems.

There is only one planet, and lots of companies have finally started to wake up to the challenges that we are facing with regard to sustainability, and many are making positive changes in the way they operate and the types of production methods they use, but there is also a large number of companies who haven’t made any changes, and they are causing a lot of damage every year. As a business, we have a responsibility to be eco-friendly, and it drives what we do. 

DESIGNING PRODUCTS THAT CAN BE USED BY THIS GENERATION AND THE NEXT ONE

When it comes to the role that we play in fashion design, we try to be purposeful in everything we do. This means that the clothing we create and the fashion choices we make are informed by sustainability, designing products that can be used by this generation and the next one. We know how important it is to create clothing that will last for a long time but doesn’t have toxic chemicals involved in the production, which means we also only use natural fabrics like cotton and linen.

OUR MISSION IS ONGOING

We try to create collections that are timeless, so they won’t go out of fashion or become irrelevant in a few years. We also only use sustainably sourced materials in our clothing, and anything we do use has been dyed with non-toxic materials. We believe in considering the impact of the choices we make every day, and to view those choices as an opportunity to better ourselves and being kinder to our body and skin. Elise Fayre will continue to be eco-friendly and timeless, so you can keep wearing it for years to come.
